Foundation shade matching should be based on real evidence from real people, not marketing materials or guesswork.
Mission
Finding the right foundation shade shouldn't be guesswork. Brand shade charts are inconsistent. Color-matching algorithms are unreliable. Most shade finders rely on marketing data rather than real-world experience.
We built ShadeTwin to solve this using actual creator testimony. By analyzing thousands of public creator videos where creators discuss their foundation shades, we've created a database of verified shade matches based on real people with real skin tones.
Our Approach
Evidence-first
Every match is backed by video transcript data. We never guess or use algorithms to predict shade compatibility.
Transparent methodology
All confidence scores are explained, and users can view source videos for any match.
Independent and unbiased
We have no brand affiliations or paid placements. Matches are determined solely by creator content.
